New Year, New Look, New Facebook | Digital Living Room’ Service

Every year, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg speaks of a new challenge. Before that he has taken many challenges such as learning Mandarin, eating the flesh of an animal that has been hunted by own. He detached himself from the challenge when he arrived in 2020. This time he shared his planning for the whole decade.

But this time, the plan is not self-centered. As the 2020 challenge, Zuckerberg said he would work on the prospect of social media.

Zuckerberg said he would outline a ten-year goal for Facebook. “I was happy with the annual challenge. But now it is time to do something different. In this decade, I have set long-term goals,” he announced.

Zuckerberg will be more heedful of the new plans for Facebook to move it forward. According to a recent study, Facebook is still popular among young Americans, but its users are slowly declining. Facebook users have dropped 1.5 billion compared to 2017.

Zuckerberg understands that users are seeking change. Its users, in particular, want Facebook as more of a private network than a huge online community. So he wants to make Facebook a ‘new private social platform’ in the future. He will work to rebuild all the small communities.

The words that Zuckerberg has been saying for a long time have revolved around plans for the next decade. Last year at the annual developer conference F-8 on Facebook, he announced that the future has privacy. He then made changes to Messenger. Besides, more importance is being given to friends and relatives on Facebook. He wants to see Facebook as a ‘digital living room’ service.
